Locked Away review
What is Locked Away?
Locked Away is an adult visual novel developed by Bitter Strawman that plunges players into a dangerous urban underworld filled with ambitious, sensual women. Currently in version 0.3, the game blends branching narrative choices with explicit 3D animated sex scenes. You assume the role of a man caught between two powerful MILF figures: a corrupt politician and a ruthless crime boss. Every decision shapes alliances, rivalries, and intimate encounters that range from seductive persuasion to brutal confrontations.
The story unfolds through a series of high-stakes days where your actions determine who rises and who falls. From five-woman orgies to tense interrogations that expose traitors through subtle facial cues, Locked Away delivers a mix of political intrigue, criminal power struggles, and intense erotic content. Optional futa routes allow players to toggle specific transformations and relationships without forcing them into the core experience.
Gameplay and Mechanics
Gameplay in Locked Away revolves around meaningful dialogue choices that influence multiple story branches. Players navigate daily schedules, manage relationships, and handle escalating confrontations between the politician and crime boss factions. Mechanics include reputation systems that affect how characters respond during both dialogue and sexual encounters.
Core Interaction Systems
- Relationship tracking that determines available scenes and endings
- Interrogation sequences where reading facial expressions reveals hidden loyalties
- Branching paths leading to impregnation, transformation, or domination outcomes
- Optional futa content toggles that integrate seamlessly with existing routes
Sexual gameplay features explicit player agency. You select positions, pacing, and kinks during encounters, including blowjobs, anal sex, foot play, and female domination sequences. Graphic violence occasionally intersects with erotic moments, creating a raw, uncompromising tone that matches the criminal setting.
Story and Characters
The narrative of Locked Away centers on your sudden immersion in a city where powerful women pin their ambitions on you. Two charismatic MILFs dominate the central conflict: one operates through political corruption and manipulation, while the other rules through organized crime and intimidation. Your choices determine which path you support, which characters you betray, and which alliances ultimately survive.
Supporting cast includes a diverse roster of bold, sexually assertive women who engage in threesomes, group scenes, and intense one-on-one encounters. Each protagonist features distinct personality traits that influence both dialogue and bedroom dynamics. The writing emphasizes emotional stakes alongside physical pleasure, making relationship decisions feel consequential rather than purely transactional.
Will you accept surrendering to these sensual trials and discovering how far your decisions will take you?
Visuals, Animation, and Production Quality
Locked Away uses detailed 3D animated models that bring every intimate interaction to life. Character animations are smooth and expressive, particularly during sex scenes where facial expressions, body movement, and environmental details enhance immersion. Lighting and camera angles shift dynamically to highlight key moments of tension or pleasure.
The art direction captures the gritty yet seductive atmosphere of the criminal underworld. Backgrounds range from luxurious political offices to dimly lit back-alley hideouts, each rendered with attention to environmental storytelling. Sound design includes realistic voice moans, ambient city noise, and a subtle score that heightens both dramatic and erotic sequences.
